AS A SENIOR IN 2021-22: Captain...two-year starter.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2020-21: Shot his season-low round of 72 and his career-low score of 153 in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament...tied for fourth in the NESCAC #2 Tournament...NESCAC All-Academic Team.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019: Tied for fourth overall in the Ekwanok College Tournament...NESCAC All-Academic Team.Â
BEFORE TRINITY: Three-time all-division and twice All-State for his high school team that won three State titles and finished as State Runner-Up once...also starred scholastically in ice hockey.
PERSONAL:Â Earned faculty honors in the fall of 2018 and 2019...volunteers with the Rhode Island Special Olympics...majoring in economics with a minor in models and data...son of Nicole and Matthew Steckler...father played ice hockey at Union and aunt, Danielle Smith, played tennis at the University of Vermont.
