AS A JUNIOR IN 2021-22: Co-captain...scored at the NESCAC Championship Meet with his sixth-place finish in the 50-yard backstroke, his seventh-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke,his 16th-place finish in the 200-yard back and as a member of both Trinity's sixth-place 200-yard medley relay that also set a new Bantam record (1:31.88) and its eighth-place 400-yard medley relay...posted Trinity's fastest, all-time top time in the 50-yard backstroke (22.66), 100-yard backstroke (49.29)...won the 50- and the 100-yard backstroke against Springfield and in a tri-meet against Colby and Hamilton, the 50-yard backstroke at Wheaton, the 100-yard backstroke at Babson, and the 100- and 200-yard backstroke races at Wesleyan...CSCAA Scholar All-American.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020-21: Named to the 2021 NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.

AS A ROOKIE IN 2019-20: Posted Trinity's second-fastest, all-time top time in both the 50-yard backstroke (23.38) and the 100-yard backstroke (50.35) and its third-fastest, all-time top time in the 200-yard backstroke (1:52.55)...finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke and 12th in the 50-yard backstroke at the NESCAC Championship Meet...finished seventh as a member of Trinity's 200-yard medley relay at the NESCAC Championship Meet...won the 100- and 200-yard backstroke races against Connecticut College...won the 50-yard freestyle against St. Joseph (Conn.), the 100-yard backstroke against Wesleyan, and the 100-yard breaststroke in the Tech Sprints at WPI.

BEFORE TRINITY: All-conference, all-area, Connecticut Open State Champion and an All American in high school.

PERSONAL: Inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society in 2022...earned Faculty Honors in the fall of 2019...member of Trinity's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in 2020-21...majoring in biology...son of William and Lori Colleran.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity because it felt like the best place for me.  The people are great and I could see myself enjoying the next four years of my life here.
