AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019-20: Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team.

BEFORE TRINITY: Three-time team MVP and scholar-athlete award recipient in high school...also played football in high school.

PERSONAL:  Vice-President of Trinity's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)...works as a sales associate at a fitness company...owned his own tennis coaching business...enjoys biking and hiking...majoring in economics and psychology...born in England...son of Meredith and Mike McGarvey...father played football at University of San Diego, grandfather, Tom Ellington, was a boxer at the University of Virginia, and cousin, Mason Molina, swam at Connecticut College.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I love the small class sizes and tight knit community I observed while visiting Trinity. There was just something about Trinity that resonated with me more than any college I visited. Everyone who I said hi to was so friendly and glad to help me find buildings and classrooms when I was lost. The overall amazing academics, athletics, and community at Trinity was so evident for me from just one visit.
