Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2017-18: Joined the team in his fourth year on campus.

PERSONAL: volunteered as a ConnectiKIDS tutor and at Hartford Hospital...works on campus as a research, resident, and teaching assistant and a tour guide...member of the Nhu Rho Psi honor society for neuroscience and the Tri Beta honor society for biological study...loves reading science books and listening to science podcasts...would like to earn his doctoral degree...majoring in neuroscience...son of Rita and Craig Gitchell...sister, Meaghan, played soccer at Belmont Abbey College, uncle, Jimmy, played baseball at Elmhurst College, and cousin, Brendan Lowrey, plays football at Louisville.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I knew I wanted a small school where the emphasis was on undergraduates and on teaching.  I also wanted a school where I could get extremely involved in both academic and other club/athletic opportunities.
