Brittany Sarnese

Brittany Sarnese begins her eighth season as a Trinity College assistant softball coach in the 2022-23 academic year. Sarnese started her softball position at Trinity in the fall of 2015 after two seasons at Brandeis, her alma mater, where she was an assistant in 2013-14 and interim head coach for the 2014-15 campaign.  Sarnese guided the Judges to a 21-14 overall record and the 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship title while coaching three all-conference and one all-regional selection.

Sarnese earned her bachelor's degree in studio art with minors in business and Hispanic Studies from Brandeis in 2012, where she was a softball captain. She graduated among the top five all-time Judges in hits, at-bats, total bases, doubles, runs, RBI and games played.  Sarnese was a three-time all-conference and a two-time All-New England honoree, as well as a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection. Sarnese, who completed her master's degree in American Studies from Trinity in 2017.

Sarnese also coached Trinity women’s golf for the first three seasons of the program's existence. She guided Trinity to sixth of seven teams in Trinity's first-ever NESCAC Championship Tournament in 2019.
