Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2024: Steed started all 36 games, marking a career high. At the plate, she recorded 99 at-bats, scoring 11 runs with 25 hits, including 6 doubles (matching her rookie season) and 17 RBIs, while posting a .313 slugging percentage. She also set a career high with 15 walks and was hit by 2 pitches. Additionally, Steed contributed 1 sacrifice fly and 4 sacrifice bunts, finishing with a .333 on-base percentage.

Defensively, Steed registered a career-high 28 putouts with just 1 error, earning a .966 fielding percentage.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2023: Erin Steed appeared in 32 games, starting 30 as the designated hitter while also seeing time in left field. As a sophomore, Steed recorded 20 putouts, 1 assist, and no errors.

At the plate, Steed logged 85 at-bats, tallying 23 hits, including 3 doubles, and driving in 5 runs while scoring 8 times. They posted a .306 slugging percentage, drew 7 walks, and was hit by a pitch. Steed also recorded 1 sacrifice fly, 2 sacrifice bunts, and 1 stolen base.

AS A ROOKIE IN 2022: T4 on team in doubles and RBIs and T5th on team in runs, hits, and stolen bases...had five multi-hit games...singled home the game-winning run in the seventh inning of game one and doubled twice in game two of a sweep against Mitchell.

PERSONAL: Enjoys spending time with friends and family... plays viola in an orchestra...majoring in economics...daughter of Kerry and John Steed.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity because of the high academics and competitive athletics.
