AS A ROOKIE IN 2024: Calagna appeared in 33 games, earning 32 starts for the Bantams. She spent the majority of the season as the team’s primary catcher while also contributing as a designated hitter. At the plate, she recorded 90 at-bats, scoring 9 runs with 18 hits, 13 RBIs, and 13 walks. She was hit by a pitch once and added 2 sacrifice flies and 2 sacrifice hits, finishing with a .200 slugging percentage and a .302 on-base percentage.
Defensively, the first-year catcher was rock-solid behind the plate, logging 102 putouts and 4 assists without committing an error, finishing the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
