Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2024: Mikolajczak becomes the seventh player in program history to earn All-Conference honor three times, pairing a 2024 First Team selection with 2022 First Team and 2023 Second Team selections. Mikolajczak led the Bantams in batting average (.442), OPS (1.092), slugging percentage (.589), runs (41), hits (57), home runs (t-2), total bases (76), walks (16), on-base percentage (.503) and stolen bases (21). In conference, Mikolajczak ranked in the Top 5 in hits (2nd), total bases (2nd), batting average (3rd), runs scored (3rd), stolen bases (3rd), OPS (4th), on-base percentage (5th). Mikolajczak set the new program record for hits and runs scored in a season, besting the marks set by Jessica Tait in 2007, as well as games played (38), games started (38), and at-bats (129). Mikolajczak recorded the third-most total bases and stolen bases in a season in program history, and tied Kathy Ennis for the seventh-highest batting average in a season.

Mikolajczak is the fourth player in program history, and the first since 2007, to be named to the NFCA First Team, this is her third consecutive season earning National Fastpitch Coaches Association 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2023: Named to both the 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Softball All-Conference First Team and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region Third Team. Mikolajczak hit .393 this season and totaled team-highs of 26 runs, 44 hits, three home runs, 18 stolen bases in 19 attempts, a .527 slugging percentage and a .433 on-base percentage. She also finished the year with four doubles, a triple, and nine RBIs with a .943 fielding percentage at shortstop, and earned CSC Academic All-District recognition for her excellence on the field and in the classrooom. 

AS A ROOKIE IN 2022: One of 10 finalists for the 2022 Schutt Sports/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III National Freshman of the Year...NFCA All-Region Third Team...NESCAC Rookie of the Year...All-NESCAC First Team...led the NESCAC in stolen bases and assists...topped the Bantams in runs (7th in NESCAC), triples (T5th in NESCAC), walks (T5th in NESCAC), and stolen bases, 2nd on team in batting average (17th in NESCAC), hits, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage (T8th in NESCAC) and 3rd in RBIs...had 10 games of two or more hits...went 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBIs, a double, and two triples in a win against Lawrence...was 6-for-11 with three runs, six RBIs, four doubles, a triple, two walks, and three stolen bases in a three-game sweep at Bowdoin...had six hits in seven at-bats with a run, an RBI, a walk, and a steal in the NESCAC Championship Tournament...NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete.

BEFORE TRINITY: Scholar-athlete award recipient, Cougar award recipient for character on and off the field, team offensive and defensive MVP, twice team MVP, and four-time all-region honoree in high school...holds her high school record for career batting average at .509 and stolen bases at 67...nominated twice for the Georgia Positive Athlete Award in high school...also starred scholastically in basketball.

PERSONAL: Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) president in high school...enjoys playing spikeball and pickleball...does not eat fruit...wants to obtain a doctoral degree in physical therapy degree and become a physical therapist...majoring in neuroscience...daughter of Stephen and Heather Mikolajczak.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity for the great balance between academics and athletics, alongside the beautiful campus.
