AS A ROOKIE IN 2021-22: Earned a silver medal with the second-varsity four in the Stroked for varsity eight at the Head of the Charles Regatta.
BEFORE TRINITY: Won the New England Junior and High School Regional Regatta and the CRI Fall Classic in high school...finished sixth at Youth Nationals in the second-varsity eight and ninth at Club Nationals in fours in high school...earned a bronze medal in the varsity eight at the Youth Northeast Championship...also swam in high school.
PERSONAL: Earned a silver medal with the second-varsity four at the Saratoga Invitational...served on three mission trips to Puerto Rico, Texas, and Virginia...Gold and Silver Presidential Volunteer Award recipient, class treasurer, president of the Spanish Club, secretary of the Interact Club and Moot Court quarterfinalist in high school...daughter of Sarah Merrill and Troy Newman.
