AS A JUNIOR IN 2019-20: Returning starter at coxswain in the third-varsity eight.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2018-19: Switched from rower to coxswain...NESCAC All-Academic Team.
BEFORE TRINITY: Also played lacrosse in high school.
PERSONAL: Rowed her freshman year and switched to coxswain her sophomore year...earned Faculty Honors in each of her first four collegiate semesters...works with children with special needs...enjoys beekeeping...plays the steel drums...majoring in art history and urban studies...daughter of Laura and Edwin Schmidt.
WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity because of its location near a unique city, the emphasis on diversity, and the many internship opportunities available in Hartford.Â
