AS A SENIOR IN 2022-23: Has been both a coxswain and an oarswoman for the Bantams.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2021-22: NESCAC All-Academic Team.

BEFORE TRINITY: First rowing experience was at Head of the Riverfront Recapture in 2015.

PERSONAL: Received awards in high school form achievement in government & politics, psychology, and Spanish...co-founder of her high school's Model UN team...passionate about volunteering in the Hartford community...volunteers with Journey Home which provides innovative solutions for homelessness and Hands on Hartford...has interned with Organized Parents Make A Difference, which offers after-school programs to Hartford public schools students, and with Lincoln Financial Group...black belt in karate...excellent baker...majoring in urban studies...daughter of Marie-Louise Villar and Gary Asfalg.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I wanted to go to a school where I could meet people from all over the world, but I still wanted to be close to home.
