Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2023-24: In her junior season Safy received All-NESCAC First Team honors, and CSA First Team All-American Honors... The Bantams #2 on the ladder finished the season 19-3, 7-0 in the NESCAC, and 40-15 career mark. Safy fell in the second round of the Collegiate Squash Association Individual Championship, but went 3-0 in the CSA Tournament adding to the Bantams success on their campaign to the National Championship title. 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022-23: Earned CSA All-American First Team, All-NESCAC’s First Team, and NESCACPlayer of the Year... Safy finished the year 12-6 in the season, 21-12 career record.

AS A ROOKIE IN 2021-22: In her rookie season earned CSA All-American Second Team, All-NESCAC First Team... Won at No. 2 on the ladder against No. 2-ranked Yale... Registered a 9-6 record to begin her Trinity campaign.

BEFORE TRINITY: Lost just four matches in her entire high school career.

PERSONAL: Enjoys reading and extreme sports...has been skydiving...would like to pursue a professional squash career...also interested in architecture and would like to rebuild old Egyptian neighborhoods...hopes to spread awareness and start mental health clinics in Egypt...majoring in psychology...daughter of Wael Safy and Rabab EL Khorazaty.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity because it has a good balance between sports and academics.
