Biography
AS A JUNIOR IN 2023-24: Earned NESCAC All-Academic Squad, CSA 2024 All-American Second Team, and received CSA 2023-24 Women Scholar Athletes honors… At the CSA Individual Championship, Palacios climbed her way through the Holleran West bracket defeating her opponents from Princeton (3-0), Drexel (3-2), Princeton (3-2) and Cornell (3-1) to claim the Holleran West Cup Title. Palacios added a 3-0 sweep adding to the Women’s Squash National Championship title. In her junior season Palacios finished 19-2, owning a 54-7 career record.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022-23: Earned All-American Second Team...Winner of Holleran "B" North division… Logged a 20-3 season, growing her career record 35-5.Â
AS A ROOKIE IN 2021-22: All-NESCAC Second Team...T3rd on team in wins and 5th on team in winning percentage...won in the middle third of the lineup against No. 4-ranked Yale, No. 3-ranked Penn and top-ranked Harvard...went 2-1 to reach the semifinals of the CSA National Singles Championship Holleran West "B" Division Tournament. Finished her rookie season 15-2.
BEFORE TRINITY: Also played basketball and volleyball in high school.Â
PERSONAL: Would like to pursue a career in veterinary medicine...majoring in International Studies with a minor in Italian Studies...daughter of Patricio Palacios and Tania Benitez...Sister of Dandy Palacios.
WHY I CHOSE TRINITY:Â I chose Trinity because it is a great school that has an amazing squash program.
