AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2017-18: Transferred to Trinity from Assumption...posted Trinity's top time of 11:35.78 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
BEFORE TRINITY: Captain, team MVP, an all-league honoree, and a regional and State champion for her high school...also a member of a state champion high school cross country team...joined her high school cross country as a junior after being told be someone that she was not good at running.
PERSONAL: Also runs cross country for the Bantams...volunteers at Walk for Vision/OUIF Foundation, wirth Catholic and human services groups, and with the Mattapoisett/Rochester Road Race...interned at the Fernandes law firm...received a scholarship from the Bill Belichick Foundation...vice -president of her high school senior class...certified canoe/kayak/paddkle board instructor...certified lifeguard...enjoys hiking on Mount Washington...would like to attend graduate school...majoring in psychology with a minro in writing, rhetoric, and media studies...daughter of Laurie and Robert Bourgeois...grandfather, Bob, played basketball at Assumption and grandfather, Armand Fernandes, played football at Lehigh.
WHY I CAME TO TRINITY: I visited a friend on the campus during the year and fell in love with it. I also got the opportunity to meet some professors and the track coaches and found them very nice.
