Chris Kendrick enters his second season as Assistant Athletic Director for Communications at Trinity College for the 2024-25 season.
Prior to joining the Bantams staff, Kendrick served as Sports Information Director at Elms College and Northwood University. While at Elms, Kendrick was the primary media contact for all 15 varsity sports, while expanding the college’s reach via social media and broadcasting. During his time at Northwood, now known as Keiser University, Kendrick revitalized the Seahawks Sports Information Department into one of the top departments in The Sun Conference. He served as host Sports Information Director for three Sun Conference championships, and had two student-athletes earn Capital One/CoSida Academic All-American status. Kendrick was a 2013-14 NAIA-SIDA Walt McAlexander Publication contest award-winner for his work on the Seahawks’ Men’s Basketball media guide.
Kendrick held the role of Sports Information Graduate Assistant at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth (UMD) for two years while earning his master’s degree in Business Administration. At UMass-Dartmouth, Kendrick assisted with writing press releases, maintain statistics, media relations coordination, and provided the play-by-play commentary for the UMD Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams.
Kendrick began his Sports Information career as a student assistant at Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts. After a year at Curry, he transferred to the University of Montana to finish earning a bachelor’s degree in Communications while working as a sports writer for the University of Montana athletics website, covering Football and Men’s Basketball.
