David Dellaripa begins his sixth year as the Trinity assistant diving coach in 2023-24, continuing an extensive and successful coaching career. David and his wife Jeanette, Trinity diving coach, have together coached several high school teams including, East Catholic, Manchester, and many other Connecticut divers from Avon, Conard, East Lyme, Glastonbury, Hall, Kingswood-Oxford, Loomis Chaffee, Newington, Windsor, and others through their AAU and summer diving programs/teams. David was also, with Jeanette, interim diving coach at the University of Connecticut.
He is an actuary at The Hartford. While a student-athlete at UConn, Dellaripa was a scholarship diver who enjoyed a successful career and was a National Qualifier. He was Connecticut Class M state champion, and still holds the East Hartford High School diving record from 1983.
