Kristen Noone

Kristen Noone is the deputy athletic director and senior woman administrator at Trinity College.  She is the sport administrator for baseball, cross country, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, and track & field while also serving as the compliance coordinator, athletics liaison to admissions, the department's athletics diversity & inclusion designee, chair of the athletic department’s DEI Committee, contest scheduler, and advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).  Noone serves on the President’s Administrative Leadership Team and has served on various campus committees, including the Task Force on Campus Climate and the Task Force on Women.  At the conference level, she serves on the NESCAC DEI Committee and is the administrative liaison to the NESCAC SAAC.  


Noone has served as Trinity's interim director of athletics from February through July in 2025 as well as from June through December in 2017.  Prior to 2017, she was also Trinity's coordinator of physical education.  Noone was Trinity's head men's and women's swimming and diving coach and an assistant and later associate professor of physical education from 2000 to 2013, and served as its director of aquatics thru 2014.  She was also an assistant swimming and diving coach at Trinity in 1999-00. Her teams consistently set new school records and earned the College Swimming Coaches Association Academic All American Team Award, and several swimmers and divers earned NESCAC All-Academic honors each season as well. 

Noone competed as a distance freestyler and backstroker at Boston College, where she earned her bachelor's degree.  She was a Big East Conference and New England Championships qualifier, and she earned numerous academic honors as an undergraduate.  Noone also received her master's degree from Trinity.
