Kyle Wasilkowski

Kyle Wasilkowski began his role as Coordinator of Recreational Programming at Trinity College in March 2026. Prior to Trinity, he served as the Senior Assistant Director of Recreation at the University of New Haven and spent three years as the Director of Recreation and Club Sports at the University of Hartford.

While at Hartford, Wasilkowski was a member of the Athletic Senior Administration team and played a key role in enhancing campus recreation during the institution’s transition from Division I to Division III athletics. During his tenure, he increased intramural participation by 82% in just two years through the addition of organized leagues, tournaments, and new programming opportunities, engaging more than 1,000 student participants. He also expanded campus engagement efforts by creating the department’s first social media accounts and official logo, helping establish one of the most followed recreation programs among Division III institutions.

Before arriving in Connecticut, Wasilkowski worked in Pennsylvania as the Sports and Recreation Director at Lewisburg YMCA at The Miller Center, where he helped grow the facility’s visibility by expanding leagues and tournaments while collaborating with Bucknell University Athletics to offer youth clinics for the local community. He also served as the Director of Sports & Fitness for a non-profit organization in the Harrisburg area that operated one of the largest adult recreation leagues in Central Pennsylvania, serving more than 3,500 adult participants annually. One of his proudest accomplishments was organizing the first-ever kickball championship at FNB Field, home of the Washington Nationals’ Double-A affiliate. In addition, Wasilkowski has experience serving as an Assistant Athletic Director within a Pennsylvania school district.

Wasilkowski earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from York College of Pennsylvania and his Master of Science degree in Sports Management with a concentration in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from California University of Pennsylvania.

In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball, spending time outdoors, and traveling. He resides in Plainville, Connecticut, with his wife, Amber, and their son, Theo.
