Penny Lawrence, originally from St. Catherine, Jamaica, started working at Trinity College in 1992 as an equipment manager. She is married to Roy and has two sons, Bo-Edward and Andre, who also live and work in the Hartford area. As an equipment manager, Lawrence’s duties and responsibilities include supervising and maintaining inventories for all athletic uniform and equipment of specific athletic teams. Additionally, she oversees the storage area for all athletic equipment, makes the fitting and necessary adjustments needed for uniforms of team players and supervises laundry and locker room maintenance. Lawrence was voted Trinity Athletics Staff Member of the Year in 2015 and received the college's Bantam Award for her distinguished contribution to the Trinity sports program.  She is very supportive of Trinity’s athletic teams and students!
