Bradley Leads Trinity Field Hockey To Win Against Bates

Hartford, Conn. -   Sophomore Christy Bradley (Wellesley, Mass.) scored twice and assisted on a third goal to lead the Trinity College Bantams a 3-1 win against the visiting Bates College Bobcats in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's soccer action this afternoon on Robin L. Sheppard Field.  Trinity, ranked No. 12 in the nation, improves to 9-1 overall and 5-1 in the NESCAC, while the Bobcats drop to 4-6 overall and 1-5 in the league with their first loss in three games.

Bradley scored her first goal 53 seconds into the contest and provided an assist on a goal by classmate Robyn Williams (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) late in the first half to give the Bantams a 2-0 lead at the break.  Bates junior midfielder Morgan Maciewicz (Marblehead, Mass.) pulled the visitors within one with a goal late in the second half, but Bradley put the game away with an unassisted tally with 3:23 remaining on the clock.  Trinity freshman goalie Gina DiNallo (West Hartford, Conn.) made five saves and Bobcat sophomore goalie Katie McEnroe (Manchester, Mass.) had 14 stops.
