Hartford, Conn. - The defensive unit kept the ball out of
Trinity's zone, and sophomore Christy Bradley (Wellesley,
Mass.) scored two goals to lead the Trinity College
Bantams to an 8-0 victory over the visiting Eastern Connecticut
State Warriors in field hockey action this afternoon on Sheppard
Field. The Bantams are 2-0 with the win, posting back-to-back
8-0 shutouts to start the season. Eastern Connecticut falls
to 1-1 with the loss.
Bradley's first goal came seven minutes into the game, and
Trinity never looked back. The Bantams peppered 37 shots and
allowed just four as Payden Sra (Pewaukee, Wisc.)
collected her first shutout of the season.
