Waltham, Mass. - Junior Molly Ullman (Studio City, Calif.) had 14 kills and 18 digs in two matches to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 1-1 record on the second day of the Brandeis University Volleyball Invitational this afternoon.  Trinity fell to the host Judges, 3-0, but blanked the Smith College Pioneers by the same score in its second match.  Trinity moves to 4-2 with a 3-1 mark in the tournament.

Against Brandeis, Trinity lost the first game, 25-22, and came up short in the second game, 26-24, before being outplayed in the third game, 25-16.  Freshman Jennifer Low (San Francisco, Calif.) collected 31 assists and four aces and classmate Emily Guthorn (Huntington Beach, Calif.) added six kills and 10 digs for the Bantams.

Trinity took the first and third games against Smith by 25-13 scores, sandwiched around a 25-7 count in the second game.  Guthorn notched five kills and 12 digs, while freshman Sarah Blagden (Charleston, S.C.) had 20 digs, and Low recorded 17 assists and three aces.  Ullman was selected to the all-tournament team for her outstanding play in four matches this weekend.
