Clinton, N.Y. - Senior Emily Borsting (Portland,
Oregon) made a team-high 11 kills to the visiting Trinity
College Bantams to a 3-0 win over the Hamilton College Continentals
in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC)
volleyball action this afternoon. Trinity, which lost its
first match of the day, 3-0, against league foe Williams College,
moves to 5-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
Trinity lost to Williams, 25-23, 25-19, and, 25-11, but rallied
to sweep Hamilton, 25-20, 25-12, and, 25-23. Freshman S
Jen Low (San Francisco, Calif.) had 30 assists and
classmate Sarah Blagden (Charleston, S.C.) totaled
20 digs in the Hamilton match. Against Williams, freshman
Emily Guthorn (Huntington Beach, Calif.) paced the
Bantam offense with eight kills and Blagden made 13 digs.
