Waltham, Mass. – Junior S Jen Low (San Francisco, Calif.) had 36 assists and three aces and made the all-tournament twam to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 3-1 victory over the University of Massachusetts-Boston Beacons in the fourth game of the Brandeis University Volleyball Invitational this afternoon.  The Bantams, who dropped their first match of the young season, 3-0, earlier in the day against the host Brandeis University Judges, are now 3-1 overall.  Trinity started the day at 2-0 in the tournament, after wins over Dominican (Ill.) and Babson yesterday, and end up in third place in the nine-team field.  The three teams all finished 3-1 in the tournament, while Mass.-Boston took first place.  The Beacons are now 8-1 and Brandeis is 7-2.

After losing three close sets in the Brandeis match and falling behind, 1-0, with a 25-20 defeat in the first set against previously-undefeated Mass.-Boston, Trinity caught fire and outscored the Beacons, 50-31, to take a 2-1 lead in the match.  The Bantams won the fourth set, 3-1, as sophomore OH Danielle Isaman (West Hartford, Conn.) led the way with 17 kills and senior tri-captain RS Kristen Anderson (West Haven, Conn.) added 10 kills and 17 digs.  Isaman also had 10 kills and Anderson had eight in the Brandeis match, while junior tri-captain Sarah Blagden (Charleston, S.C.) amassed 39 digs in the two matches for the Bantams.
