Trinity Volleyball Begins NESCAC Play With Impressive Win Against Hamilton

New London, Conn. - The Trinity College volleyball team recorded a 3-0 win over the Hamilton College Continentals in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) opener for both teams this evening at Connecticut College.  Trinity edged Hamilton, 25-20, in the first setbefore taking the next two easily at 25-15 and 25-8.  The Bantams, ranked No. 4 in New England, improve to 5-1 overall with their third straight victory, while Hamilton drops to 4-4.

Trinity sophomore OH Danielle Isaman (West Hartford, Conn.) recorded a team-high nine kills, while senior tri-captain RS Kristen Anderson (West Haven, Conn.) added eight kills and three aces, and freshman OH Hannah Brickley (Melrose, Mass.) made eight kills.  Junior S Jen Low (San Francisco, Calif.) registered 27 assists and two aces, and junior tri-captain L Sarah Blagden (Charleston, S.C.) notched 22 digs for the Bantams.
