Box Score 2 Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College Bantams posted 3-0 victories over the Keene State College Owls and the Clark University Cougars in volleyball action this afternoon at Wesleyan University. Trinity, ranked No. 9 in New England, improves to 13-3 with its third and fourth wins in three days. Keene State, which also lost, 3-1, to Wesleyan, is now 9-9, while Clark moves to 6-11 with its loss to the Bantams and a 3-1 victory against Wesleyan.
Trinity won three competitive sets against Keene State, 25-23, 25-20, and, 25-21, and took the first two sets in the Clark match by 25-21 scores before closing the day with an impressive 25-10 triumph in the third set. Trinity sophomore OH Hannah Brickley (Melrose, Mass.) totaled 34 kills and 30 digs, while senior S Jen Low (San Francisco, Calif.) added 69 assists, and sophomore Clara Zinman (Shrewsbury, Mass.) served up seven aces in the two shutout wins. Bantam senior L Sarah Blagden (Charleston, S.C.) notched 43 digs, while junior OH Danielle Isaman (West Hartford, Conn.) had 19 kills in the Clark match, and senior Alexandra Pell (San Diego, Calif.) registered 11 kills and 10 digs against the Owls.
