Hartford, Conn. – Senior co-captain Jillian Steckloff (Framingham, Mass.) did not allow a single point the No. 3 singles match and teamed with sophomore Hillary Hoyt (New York, N.Y.) for an 8-3 triumph at No. 2 doubles to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 9-0 win over the visiting Hamilton College Continentals in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis action this afternoon at the Assaiante Tennis Center. Trinity is 7-4 overall and 2-1 in the NESCAC with its second win in a row, while Hamilton drops to 5-4 overall and 0-2 in the league with its second consecutive defeat. Hoyt also won, 6-4, 6-2, as No. 1 singles, and all six Trinity singles players in straight sets. The win was the 200th for Trinity Head Coach Wendy Bartlett, who is 200-130-1 in her 27 seasons at the helm.
