Waterville, Maine - Sophomore Hillary Hoyt (New York,
N.Y.) won in straight sets at first singles and had
another win with senior co-captain Jillian Steckloff
(Framingham, Mass.) at first doubles for the visiting
Trinity College Bantam women's tennis team in an 8-1 win over
the Colby College Mules in New England Small College Athletic
Conference (NESCAC) play this afternoon. Trinity improves to
4-3 overall and 1-0 in the NESCAC with its second victory in a row,
while Colby drops to 2-5 overall and 0-2 in the league.
Steckloff also won in singles in straight sets at the No. 3
spot.
