Box Score 2 Waltham, Mass. - Sophomore OH Hannah Brickley (Melrose, Mass.) totaled 31 kills and 27 digs to lead the Trinity College Bantams to sweep of the Haverford College Fords and the Babson College Beavers in the Brandeis University Invitational Volleyball Tournament. Trinity improves to 3-0 for the first time since 2006 and ties the host Brandeis University Judges and the Tufts University Jumbos for first-place in the 10-team tourney field.
Trinity downed the Fords, 25-20, 25-19, 25-11, as Brickley totaled 14 kills with just two errors. Senior co-captain S Jen Low (San Francisco, Calif.) notched 29 assists, senior L Sarah Blagden (Charleston, S.C.) led the defense with 15 digs, and classmate Courtney Chaloff (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) added four blocks. Against Babson, Trinity recovered from a 27-25 loss in the first set to take each of the last three by a double-digit margin, 25-15, 25-14, 25-14. Brickley and junior OH Danielle Isaman (West Hartford, Conn.) each made 13 kills, while Low registered 40 assists and 12 digs, and Blagden added 18 digs. Brickley also had 16 digs and Chaloff put up four more blocks in the Babson match.
