Orange, Calif. - The visiting Trinity College Bantam women's tennis rebounded from a 3-0 deficit after doubles play to win all six singles matches for a 6-3 victory over the Chapman University Panthers in women's tennis action this evening. Trinity improves to 6-3 with its first win in three matches, while the Panthers drop to 6-5 with their second loss in a row. Junior Hillary Hoyt (New York, N.Y.) and sophomore Senzo Mauve-Maphisa (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) dominated the top-two spots in singles to set the tone for a 6-0 Bantam sweep of the matches. Hoyt won, 6-2, 6-0, at he top position and Mauve-Maphisa won 6-2, 6-2, at No. 2.
