Thousand Oaks, Calif. - Junior Hillary Hoyt (New York, N.Y.) and
junior Senzo Mauve-Maphisa (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) each won in
straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles while teaming up for
a 9-7 triumph at No. 1 doubles, as the visiting Trinity College
Bantams defeated the California Lutheran University Regals in
women's tennis action this afternoon. Trinity improves to 3-2
with its second win in as many days, while the Regals drop to
8-5. Trinity led, 2-1, after doubles play, and junior Frances
Cameron (Mill Valley, Calif.) and sophomore Regan Cherna
(Bronxville, N.Y.) also posted straight-set singles
triumphs.
