Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College Bantams dropped a 5-1 decision against the visiting Bowdoin College Polar Bears in a match played inside the Ferris Athletic Center Fieldhouse due to bad weather. The Bantams, playing their home opener, fall to 3-3 with their first loss in three matches, while No. 10-ranked Bowdoin improves to 5-4 with its second win in a row. Trinity's top effort of the day came from sophomore Regan Cherna (Bronxville, N.Y.) who won at No. 3 singles in straight sets.
