New London, Conn. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams
defeated the Connecticut College Camels, 9-0, in New England Small
College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis action this
afternoon. Trinity improves to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the
NESCAC. Trinity dominated play, outscoring the Camels, 24-5, in
three doubles wins and taking five of the six singles in straight
sets. Trinity senior captain Kelsey Semrod (Princeton, N.J.)
did not allow a single point in the No. 4 singles match, and
sophomore Regan Cherna (Bronxville, N.Y. surrendered just one point
at No. 3 singles.
