Boston, Mass. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams lost, 3-0, against the University of Massachusetts-Boston Beacons in volleyball action this evening at Clark Gymnasium.  The Beacons used the momentum from the 25-23 win in the first game to carry them to a 25-20 victory in the second and a 25-17 win in the third.  Trinity looks to rebound in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) match tomorrow at Colby.

Trinity senior tri-captain OH Hannah Brickley (Melrose, Mass.) scored 10 kills on 35 attempts and also finished with eight digs. Sophomores Hunter Drews (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and Kate Giddens (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) each finished with six, while first-year L Kristen Cooprider (Hopkinton, Mass.) led the defense with 11 digs. Senior tri-captain Amy Hackett (Wallingford, Conn.) and sophomore Gina Buzzelli (Cheshire, Conn.) each tallied 10 assists from the Trinity setter position.
