Hartford, Conn. – Senior tri-captain OH Hannah Brickley (Melrose, Mass.) totaled 23 kills, 28 digs, two blocks, and two aces lead the Trinity College Bantams to 3-0 victories over the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors and the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers in the Trinity Volleyball Invitational this afternoon at Oosting Gymnasium. Trinity, closes the two-day, nine-team event with a 4-0 record and won its four matches by a combined score of 16-1 to up its season record to 6-2.

Against Eastern Connecticut, which finished 2-1 in the tournament, Bantam sophomore MH Kate Giddens (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) had 10 kills and three aces, and senior tri-captain S Amy Hackett (Wallingford, Conn.) added 19 assists, three aces, and seven digs. In the Colby-Sawyer match, Giddens was a force with 12 kills and seven aces, while sophomore MH Katie Stueber (Darien, Conn.) contributed five kills and three blocks, and Hackett registered 19 assists and three aces. Western Connecticut was 3-0 in the tournament, while Wesleyan and Colby-Sawyer were both 2-1.
