Claremont, Calif. - The Trinity College Bantams suffered an 8-1 loss against the Denison University Big Red in a women's tennis match at the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges this evening.  No. 21-ranked Trinity drops to 0-4, while Denison ups its season mark to 5-2.  

Bantam junior co-captain Melita Ferjanic (Samobor, Croatia) recorded the Trinity point with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles.  Ferjanic and junior Morgan Feldman (Upper Brookvile, N.Y.) put up a tought fight at first doubles in an 8-6 setback, but the Big Red outscored the Bantams, 16-2, in the other two doubles matches and won at the five remaining singles spots in straight sets.
