Middletown, Conn. – The No. 33 Trinity College women's tennis team ended the regular season with a 7-2 loss at No. 17 Wesleyan on Wednesday afternoon in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) action at the John Wood Memorial Tennis Courts. With the loss, the Bantams will enter the NESCAC Championship Tournament 6-7 overall and 3-4 in league play, while the Cardinals improved to 9-3 on the year and 4-3 in conference tilts.
Wesleyan got off to a quick start, sweeping doubles action to earn the first three points of the afternoon.
The three Trinity points came in singles action as junior Morgan Feldman (Upper Bookville, N.Y.) and first-year Vanja Babunski (Belgrade, Serbia) each earned victories.
