Amherst, Mass. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams lost, 8-1, against the Amherst College Lord Jeffs in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis match this afternoon. Trinity drops to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the NESCAC, while No. 4-ranked Amherst improves to 8-1 overall and 2-0 in the league with its eighth victory in a row. Bantam juniors Morgan Feldman (Upper Brookville, N.Y.) and Melita Ferjanic (Samobor, Croatia) earned the Trinity point with an 8-6 win at first doubles against Sue Ghosh and Vickie Ip, the top-ranked doubles pair in the Northeast region.
