Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams lost, 6-3, against the visiting Colby College Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis action this afternoon in the Ferris Athletic Center Field House. Trinity falls to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the NESCAC, while the Mules improve to 9-3 overall and 2-2 in the league.
Trinity trailed, 2-1, after doubles play, as sophomore Vanja Babunski (Belgrade, Serbia) and first-year Zoe Lindbloom (Wayzata, Minn.) earned an 8-6 victory in the No. 1 match. Babunski and Lindbloom also each won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, for the Bantams, but the Mules took the remaining four singles points.
