New London, Conn.--The Trinity College women's tennis team fell, 7-2, to the Connecticut College Camels in Luce Field House Tuesday in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) match up. The Camels improved their record to 9-2 with their fifth straight win, while the Bantams fell to 3-4 with the setback.
Trinity sophomore Vanja Babunski (Belgrade, Serbia) and first year Zoe Lindbloom (Wayzata, Minn.) secured an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles for one of the Bantams two victories. The second win for the visitors came in the form of a 6-4, 6-4 victory at the No. 2 spot in singles by Lindbloom for the Bantams.
Trinity will look to get back on track when they visit Tufts University Saturday for an 11:00 a.m. NESCAC match up in Medford, Mass.
