Williamstown, Mass. - The Trinity College women's tennis team wrapped up its regular-season schedule on Sunday, falling to the Williams College Ephs, 5-0, in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) match shortened due to weather. The loss drops the Bantams to 6-9 overall and 1-6 in league action while the Ephs improve to 13-4 on the year and 7-1 in conference play.
Williams made quick work with a sweep in doubles play to take a 3-0 lead before winning in straight sets at No. 4 and No. 5 singles. With the men's match still to be played on the indoor courts, the remaining four singles matches either yet-to-be finished or yet-to-be played were suspended, and the Ephs and Bantams called it a day.
