Trinity Women's Tennis Blanked At Tufts

Medford, Mass. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams lost to the Tufts University Jumbos, 9-0, in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis action this afternoon at Voute Courts.  Trinity falls to 3-4 overall and 0-2 in the NESCAC, while the No. 6-ranked Jumbos improve to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in the league.  Senior tri-captain Ania Aliev (Needham, Mass.) played the closest singles match with a 6-2, 6-2 setback at the No. 4 spot.  In doubles, Bantam sophomore Krista Jiranek (Owings Mills, Md.) and first-year Morgan Wilkins (Halesite, N.Y.) managed three points in a loss at the No. 3 position.
