Union Omaha Hires Peter Marlette ’09 As General Manager

Hartford, Conn. – Former men's soccer standout Peter Marlette '09 has been announced as the newest General Manager for Union Omaha, per the team's official release Monday afternoon. Union Omaha is one of the newest members of the United Soccer League, making its League One debut and finishing as League Finalists in 2020 after its founding in 2019.
 
Marlette served previously for FC Dallas of the MLS, owning the roll of business development account manager. During his time at Trinity, Marlette was a senior tri-captain, and was named to the 2009 All-NESCAC 1st Team, NSCAA All-New England West First Team, and NSCAA All-American 2nd Team. Marlette went on to play professionally in the Australian Premiere League's Second Division for Woden Valley FC, setting the club record for goals scored in a single season. He was named Club Player of the Year, and was selected to the league All-Star Team in 2012.
 
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Marlette completed his undergraduate degree from Trinity in 2009 with Bachelor's in Public Policy and Law. In 2019, he earned his master's degree in sports management from the International Academy of Sport Science and Technology (AISTS) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
