Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams posted an 8-1 victory over the visiting Connecticut College Camels in non-conference women's tennis action this afternoon at the Assaiante Center.  Trinity wins its season opener and will entertain Merrimack in its next match on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.  The Camels are now 0-1.  Trinity led, 2-1, after doubles thanks to an 8-4 win by senior co-captains Lily Everett (Nassau, Bahamas) and Morgan Wilkins (Huntington Bay, N.Y.) at No. 2 and an 8-2 victory by junior Ashley Walker (New Canaan, Conn.) and first-year Angelica Shyltsyna (Odessa, Ukraine) at No. 3.  The Bantams took all six singles matches in straight sets.
