Former Trinity Head Coach Don Miller On College Football Hall Of Fame Ballot

Hartford, Conn. - Legendary retired Trinity College football coach Don Miller is once again eligible and on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame, as announced today by the National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame. Miller joins 78 players and seven coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 99 players and 33 coaches from the divisional ranks to be nominated in the 2022 class.

Miller coached Trinity football from 1967 to 1998, recording winning years in 28 of 32 seasons and retiring as the all-time winningest Division III football coach in New England history.  A five-time New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Coach of the Year, Miller guided the Bantams to the best record in the league seven times.  

The Hall of Fame class will be announced in early 2022 in the days leading up to the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship. The 2022 College Football Hall of Fame Class will be officially inducted during the 64th NFF Annual Awards Dinner on Dec. 6, 2022, and permanently immortalized at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. They will also be honored at their respective schools with an NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute, presented by Fidelity Investments, during the 2022 season.
