HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College volleyball team swept Northern Vermont University-Johnson Tuesday night, 25-20, 25-12 and 25-11. The Bantams record their fourth-consecutive victory and third-straight sweep to improve to 7-6 on the year while the Badgers drop to 3-4. Trinity will begin the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) gauntlet Friday night when they take on Middlebury College at 7 p.m. The match will be the Bantam's first of six-consecutive conference bouts.
Trinity tallied 13 aces in total. Senior
Hareena Johnson shined in the final set serving seven-straight times for the Bantams for the teams' longest run of the night at eight points. The captain also helped orchestrate a seven-point run in set two, registering a total of five aces altogether.
