Box Score Hartford, Conn. - Senior forward DeAnte Anderson scored all five goals to lead the visiting University of St. Joseph Bluejays to a 5-3 victory over the Trinity College Bantams in men's soccer action this evening at Trinity Soccer Field. The game was Trinity's season opener, while the Bluejays improve to 2-0. The Bantams will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Worcester Mass. to play Clark University at 2 p.m. Senior captain

Josh Morency (Pembroke, N.H.) struck first for the Bantams, netting the first goal of the 2021 season just 15 minutes into the contest. St. Joseph quickly answered with Anderson's first two goals just three minutes apart before adding his third on a penalty kick at the 26-minute mark. Michael Traynor (Rye, N.Y.) was buried by Matule bringing the score to 3-2 just three minutes into the second half. After another Bluejay goals, Matule scored for the second time on a penalty kick, once again bringing the Bantams within one score. A fifth and final goal from Anderson in the 78th minute put the game away. Traynor had two assists for the Bantams
