West Hartford, Conn. – The visiting Trinity College Bantams downed the the University of St. Joseph Bluejays in four sets, 3-1, at O'Connell Athletic Center.
The Blue Jays took the first set 25-21, but failed to reach the 20-point mark in each of the next three sets, as the Bantams utilized a consistent stream of attacks to take the win and outscored USJ, 75-39, in sets two, three, and four. Trinity takes its season opener and its third win in as many tries all-time against St. Joseph, and will host its annual invitational on Friday and Saturday.
