HENNIKER, N.H.- Three Trinity College first-years pinned their opponent to lead the visiting Bantams to a 34-13 win over the New England College Pilgrims in wrestling action this afternoon. Trinity won for the first time since January 19, 2020 and snapped a 12-match losing skid to even its season mark at 1-1. New England College drops to 0-4. Trinity hosts Roger Williams, Johnson and Wales (R.I.), and WPI on Saturday for a quad match at 1 p.m. in the Trinity Field House. NEC will be at the Castleton Duals in Vermont, beginning Saturday at noon.

Aidan Hebert (Bethany, Conn.) pinned Logan Montaina at 141 pounds in 1:04 to make it, 9-6. Fellow first-years
Dylan Sofield (Long Beach, N.Y.) and Booker Lester, Jr. (Sturbridge, Mass.) also won by fall later in the match to clinch the decision for the Bantams. Sofield pinned Maxwell Ross in 1:54 at 184 pounds and Lester pinned Nathaniel Philion in 2:53 at 197 pounds to push Trinity ahead, 31-13, with just one bout remaining.

Chris Perry (Mohegan Lake, N.Y.) also won by decision, at 165 and 149 pounds, respectively. Perry's 13-0 major decision gave the Bantams a brief 10-9 lead after four bouts and Lyskawa's narrow 3-2 win tied the match at 13-all after six. Trinity took the lead for goof on a forfeit win by
Adam Frost (Bennington, Vt.) at 174 pounds.
