Hamilton controlled play in the opening period, outshooting Trinity, 11-1, and scoring twixce on goals by Nancy Loh and Mya Berretta. Feinberg stole the puck from Hamilton goaltender Sidney Molnar and passed to Exnerova from behind the net and Exnerova quickly wristed it past Molnar to tie the game at 1-1 6:38 into play. Berretta scored the game-winner midway through the first from Maddie Hong. The Continental defense continued to be stingy, yielding just four shots in the second frame, while Holden and Sami Quackenbush added two more goals for the visitors entering the final intermission. Trinity managed 10 shots in the final stanza and had a 5x3 opportunity but could not get another shot past Molnar who finished with 14 stops. Sophomore netminder
